(Hurst, Texas-AP) -- Authorities want to question a north Texas truck driver to find out what he knows about a string of murders in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi.
Police say 40-year-old Clinton Meriweather was arrested earlier this week on a theft warrant and bonded out of jail. Now, police say they want to question him about several prostitutes who were abducted from truck stops and later killed.
Meriweather does NOT face charges in the killings.
Investigators say they found handguns, handcuffs, leg restraints, fake police badges and police clothing, women's jewelry and photographs of women at truckstops inside his truck.
Police believe Meriweather may be driving a dark blue or black 1984 Chevrolet Suburban. Anyone with any information should call police.
