(Houston-AP) -- Officials with oil refineries in Oklahoma say they're mostly unaffected by warnings of possible terrorist attacks on Texas refineries.
The FBI says a reported al-Qaida threat to blow up Texas oil refineries and pipelines prompted a heightened security alert in the Lone Star state this week.
Refinery officials in Oklahoma say they have high security, but have taken no additional measures because of the warning in Texas.
The FBI says an uncorroborated, nonspecific clue targeted the Gulf Coast's huge petrochemical complex sometime before the presidential election.
The FBI say the information is in the same category as an estimated seven-thousand FBI alerts to state and local authorities in the past year.
