(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The average price for a gallon of gasoline is at an all-time high nationwide, but the average price in Oklahoma is the lowest in the country.
AAA Oklahoma says the nationwide average is nearly $1.74 per gallon for self-serve, unleaded.
The average price in Oklahoma is $1.604 per gallon.
In Oklahoma City, the average is $1597 per gallon. That's up just more than ten cents per gallon from last month and about 5 1/2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
The average price in Tulsa is $1.585 per gallon, nine cents per gallon higher than last month and just more than seven cents per gallon more than last year.
AAA says the highest recorded price in Oklahoma was $1.732 per gallon on June 21st, 2000.
