Tulsa Police investigating two bank robberies

Tulsa Police say one suspect is responsible for robbing two banks Monday afternoon. <br><br>The suspect robbed the Bank of Oklahoma near 71st and Sheridan, and a Bank of America branch at 51st and Sheridan.

Tulsa Police say one suspect is responsible for robbing two banks Monday afternoon.

The suspect robbed the Bank of Oklahoma near 71st and Sheridan, and a Bank of America branch at 51st and Sheridan.

The first robbery happened around 12:30. Police say the suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash, then ran off.

The second happened around 4 PM Monday. Police say the man implied he had a gun, and then he threw a homemade smoke bomb as he ran out of the bank.
