Governor Henry urges to make Oklahoma the national model for legislation restricting the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine.

The governor wants lawmakers to pass House Bill 21-76. It would restrict sales of cold tablets that contain pseudoephedrine... an ingredient used to make meth.

Gov Brad Henry, (D) Oklahoma said, "Some believe it will all but eliminate the problem of illegal methamphetamine labs throughout the state of Oklahoma."

Another provision of the bill would allow judges to deny bond to chronic meth offenders.
