A ride down Riverside turned nearly deadly for one man Tuesday morning.

Witnesses say a man going northbound on Riverside took an abrupt left turn and ended up driving his car into a culvert near the Arkansas River.

No one else was in the car, and no other cars were involved. The man suffered minor injuries. Police are still investigating.
