(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Henry signs a bill that puts gambling machines at three horse racetracks and brings in money for education.
Senate Bill 553 is designed to help the struggling horse racing industry and its 50,000 jobs.
It also brings American Indian casinos under state regulations and legalizes some electronic games that have led to tribes being fined by federal regulators.
Through the regulations, the state will share in casino revenues. Supporters say the bill will create $71-million per year for education.
Henry officially signed the bill Monday.
