Tulsa's pedestrian bridge closed Monday for a makeover. The bridge will be closed for several months while crews repair decking and support structures.
In all, the project will cost the city more than $450,000. Most of the money comes from the 2001 third-penny sales tax, the rest from the Hilti Corporation, which donated more than $14,000 worth of hardware.
