Authorities are searching for the vandals of two rural Oklahoma fire stations. Someone broke into the Plainview Volunteer Fire station last week and smashed a windshield.
Then on Thursday night, vandals broke into nearby Salem-Ryal's station, cut the battery and brake cables on four of their five fire trucks and stole the other. It was found in a ditch a few miles away with a broken mirror. Assistant Fire Chief Allen Henshaw, Salem-Ryal Fire Department: "I got a call from a neighbor about 12:30 when the truck was recovered- he called me and wanted know why my truck was in the muddy ditch over there."
