(Kingfisher-AP) -- Three Union Pacific train crew members were trapped briefly when the train derailed on rain-flooded tracks near Kingfisher Friday morning.

A UP spokesman says the three were wet and cold when they were rescued, but were taken to a local hospital in good condition.

Spokesman Mark Davis says two locomotives and several rail cars carrying cars and trucks derailed about two miles north of Kingfisher and one of the rail cars burned.

The train was traveling from Kansas City, Kansas, to Oklahoma City.

Davis says the derailment occurred in an area where the tracks may have been washed away by heavy rains that flooded the area.
