An eight year old Tulsa girl is doing better. She was hit by a truck after buying ice cream in her neighborhood.
Two of Caitlin Nedlose' vertebrae were broken when the passenger side mirror of a passing pick-up hit her jaw. A neighbor says there were lots of kids buying ice cream, but the pick-up never slowed down.
Neighbor Amanda Pack: "He had to see us standing here, its sign was out and the lights were blinking."
Caitlin's father says the neighborhood has lots of kids and lots of fast drivers. He wants the city to install some speed bumps. No one was ticketed.
Caitlin must wear that collar for a couple of more weeks.
