Tulsa church building a new park

Tulsans will soon have a new place to play downtown. Boston Avenue United Methodist Church demolished the old Fred Jones Ford Building at 11th and Boston to make room for a new one-acre public park.

Tulsans will soon have a new place to play downtown. Boston Avenue United Methodist Church demolished the old Fred Jones Ford Building at 11th and Boston to make room for a new one-acre public park.

The church is investing $100,000 into the park. It will eventually be covered with grass, shrubs and a new sidewalk.
