A high speed chase Tuesday night ended in an accident in the city limits. Around 9 PM Tuesday, an officer tried to pull over a stolen van. The driver was a woman in her early 30's.

She took off, and the chase was on. Speeds reached 75 miles per hour in a residential area, so the officer backed off. The suspect eventually ran a stop sign and plowed into another vehicle.

No one inside the other car was hurt. The driver of the stolen van was taken to the hospital for treatment.
