Some Tulsa students dipped into their pockets to help raise money for something near and dear to their heart.
Cascia Hall students held the Cascia Coffee House fundraiser Tuesday. Proceeds from the sell of coffee and donuts will go toward the Aaron Halford scholarship.
Halford was a Cascia Hall student collapsed during a basketball game at the school and died. This is the first year for the fundraiser. Father Bernie Scianna: “We need to preserve the memory of Halford, a friend, a great athlete, who died two years ago."
The Halford scholarship provides financial aid to families in need.
