There is some good economic news to report. The Cessna Aircraft Company in Independence, Kansas was selected to build a new line of business jets called the Citation Mustangs.

The plant which already HAS 350 workers is expected to hire 500 additional employees by the end of next year. The plant will assemble the Mustangs in Kansas and manufacture their wings at their Georgia location.

General Manager Terry Clark expects residents in northeast Oklahoma to take advantage of the new jobs since 10% of Cessna's workforce live here.
