Dozens of inmates and employees at the Ottawa County jail are taking antibiotics after an inmate was hospitalized for a mysterious illness.
Officials first thought the inmate had meningitis, but now say they're not sure why he's sick. He is in intensive care in a Joplin, Missouri, hospital.
The jail nurse says about 46 inmates; jail personnel and others who may have had contact with Swift were given an antibiotic shot.
