The News on 6 has learned a movie theater plans to build a multi-plex, in downtown Tulsa.

The theater is part of the retail mix in the "East Village." That's a planned development that will include several large national retailers - and the movie theater.

The Tulsa Development authority is handling negotiations on the 115 acre project. The Chamber of Commerce says talks are underway with two well known - but as yet un-named retail stores.
