(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Legislative leaders in the Oklahoma House say they expect swift approval of Governor Henry's plan to pay 100% of teacher health insurance premiums.

Henry proposes paying the full cost of teacher health insurance as part of a five-year plan to raise the average teacher salary in Oklahoma to the level of states that border Oklahoma.

The state currently pays 58% of insurance premiums, school districts pay 17% and teachers pay the rest.
