(Oklahoma City-AP) -- ``The Last Farewell of Wiley Post and Will Rogers'' is the title of a painting unveiled at the state Capitol Tuesday.

The work by artist Mike Wimmer of Norman will hang permanently in the state Senate.

The painting is inspired by one of the last photographs of Rogers and Post, taken shortly before they were killed in a plane crash in Alaska in 1935.

The painting is a gift of the Paul and Helen Sisk Charitable Trust.
