Broken Arrow School's 'Teacher of the Year' honored

A Broken Arrow teacher winds-up at the head of the class in that district.

"It was really exciting. I hadn't expected it. It was a nice surprise." Lisa Wingo is BAâ€™s "Teacher of the Year."

Sheâ€™s been teaching communication skills at Centennial Middle School for 19 years, and also serves as a mentor teacher. Wingo will now represent Broken Arrow at the state teacher of the year competition.
