(Norman-AP) -- Big 12 softball coaches have picked Oklahoma to finish first in the conference this season.

OU got six of ten possible first-place votes in the coaches' poll. Nebraska got four votes and placed second.

Oklahoma Coach Patty Gasso says she's surprised about the ranking because her team has lost five seniors since last season.

USA Today and ESPN.com put the Sooners at fourth nationally.

Oklahoma State is picked for seventh place on the coaches' list. The Cowgirls are ranked 22nd in the ESPN.com poll.

Three other Big 12 teams made the national list: Nebraska, Texas and Texas A&M.

UCLA is Number 1 in the national poll.
