NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- An assistant professor at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa has been arrested in Norman on a sex charge, police said.

Ajith Abraham was arrested Friday and accused of traveling to Norman to have sex with a 14-year-old girl he had met on the Internet.

The girl told police she was to travel to Tulsa with Abraham and apparently take a bus back to Norman.

Abraham began the Internet relationship with the girl in December and set up a meeting with the girl in early January, police said.

A second meeting was to take place Friday, when police arrested Abraham.
