(Undated-AP) -- Oklahoma has finally ended the school's longest skid in five years.
Saturday's 61-to-49 victory over Kansas State gave the 20th-ranked Sooners their first win in Big 12 Conference play.
Jason Detrick had 24 points, breaking out of a personal slump. He's been hindered most of the season by an abdominal strain and concussion and had totaled 20 points in the previous three games.
In other games Saturday, 24th-ranked Oklahoma State held off Number 16 Texas 72-to-67.
Royal Ivey of Texas was 4-for-10 from the line and missed three of four in the final 22 seconds.
Joey Graham had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Oklahoma State, which snapped Texas' 25-game winning streak at home.
