(Reno, Nevada-AP) -- Kirk Snyder scored 25 points and nabbed ten rebounds to lead Nevada to an 80-to-71 home victory over Tulsa.
Nevada made 28 points off Tulsa turnovers and sank 31 second-chance points Thursday night.
Nevada led 36-to-30 at halftime.
Tulsa players were the better shooters in the game, making about 48 percent of their attempts. Nevada shot about 44%.
Nick Fazekas scored 19 points and grabbed eleven rebounds for Nevada. Todd Okeson scored eleven, and Garry Hill-Thomas added ten.
Anthony Price led Tulsa with 18 points and six rebounds. Jason Parker had 15 points, two rebounds and seven assists.
