Several local college students may have a new lead on a future job, thanks to the 2004 Tulsa Metro Job Fair.
About 60 companies set up shop in the Allen Chapman Activity Center at the University of Tulsa.
Career counselor Shelly Holly says when looking for a job, it's not always what you know, but who you know. "Be everywhere you can be and this happens to be a great place to network. Meet all the people who recruit and talk to companies actually looking for people."
The career fair was sponsored by TU, OU Tulsa, OSU Tulsa and Tulsa Community College.
