McAlester - A former Tannehill teacher has received a four-year suspended sentence after entering a plea to one count of lewd molestation.

Jonathon Allen Bernhardt of Indianola didn't admit guilt in his plea but acknowledged that prosecutors could likely prove the charge.

Bernhardt was accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl in January 2003. The girl wasn't his student.
