(Miami, Oklahoma-AP) -- A Fairland man is dead following a two-car collision near Miami early Thursday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Christopher McKinney died in the crash about 12:30 Thursday morning on State Highway 10 east of Miami.

Troopers say the pickup truck McKinney was driving crossed the center line and crashed head-on into another pickup.

The driver of the second pickup is hospitalized in Joplin, Missouri, in stable condition.

The collision shut down the highway for more than two hours.
