Lubbock, Texas - Texas Tech, with the help of Andre Emmett, defeated Oklahoma State in Lubbock, 83-to-62.
The Cowboys kept Saturday's game tight in the first half, although Tech led 39-to-35 at the break.
The Red Raiders used a 9-and-0 run to take a 17-to-13 lead.
Emmett broke open the game midway through the second half. He scored six points and had two steals in 25 seconds.
He scored 19 of his season-high 32 points in the second half.
Ivan McFarlin scored 13 points for Oklahoma State. Tony Allen and Daniel Bobik each added eleven points.
Going into the game, the Cowboys had the highest field goal percentage in the country, at 55%. Saturday, they only made 35%, and Tech had 53%.
The loss ended a six-game winning streak for the Cowboys.
