The Tulsa Medical Examiner is investigating what it terms an unusual death, a 6 year old boy who died after a trip to the dentist.

First grader Zachary Fry of Checotah, died at Muskogee Regional Hospital, several hours after a dental visit where he was under sedation.

Fry was treated in the office of Doctor Edward Tarr of Muskogee. The doctor declined comment, citing patient confidentiality rules.

The Medical Examiner has made no conclusions about what happened to the little boy, who will be buried Friday in Checotah.
