A multi-million dollar luxury retirement community is open and ready for business. Tulsa's Inverness Village held its official grand opening ceremony Wednesday.
The $95-million complex took three years to complete. Among the 257 apartments and cottages, there is also a convenience store, beauty shop, bank, post office, ice cream parlor and art studio.
Inverness Village president Kent MrRee: "Currently we have 125 residents residing here. We anticpate in the future we'll have 450 to 500 living here."
They expect the village to be fully occupied by next year.
