A Sunday night shooting at a Tulsa motel is under investigation by police.
The gunfire sent one person to the hospital, and police searching for the suspect. Tulsa Police responded to shots at a Tulsa motel at 34 South Sheridan at about 10 Sunday night.
Officers say a man was hiding in a hotel room when two men came into the room. One victim ran and the suspect shot the other in the buttocks before leaving.
Authorities say they later apprehended the suspect. Tulsa Police Sgt. Curtis Beard: "With the assistance of the helicopter and K-9 unit, we went out and were able to locate the subject hiding in a back yard several blocks east of the scene."
The suspect tried to steal a car before police caught him. He's now in jail, charges are pending.
