(Chandler-AP) -- Two Wellston teens were killed early Sunday morning when their car ran into a tree.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Bobby Rackley was driving and lost control of his car at a high rate of speed. He ran off the road, overcorrected and hit a tree just after midnight.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger 18-year-old Amber Franklin was also killed. Rackley was thrown from the car and Franklin was pinned for an unknown amount of time.

Rackley was not wearing his seat belt, Franklin was.
