A busy Friday morning for local enforcement. A short OHP chase leads to the ongoing search for two suspects. It happened near 73rd and 101st East Avenue about one Friday morning.
A trooper tried to stop a pick-up for running a stop sign and wound up chasing the vehicle around an apartment complex. The driver then drove into a field and the suspects ran off.
Troopers determined the vehicle was stolen and they also made an interesting find inside. OHP trooper Tyler Jack: "There was some suspicious material, it possibly IDed as hash. It has to be sent off to the OSBI lab for further testing to confirm it is hash."
A Tulsa Police K9 and helicopter search for the suspects was unsuccessful.
