Hundreds of people didn't have to wait to Christmas to enjoy a holiday feast. Major Marshall Gesner with the Salvation Army: "there are an awful lot of folks who provide christmas dinner on Christmas, so we decided to provide all comers a nice dinner the day before Christmas."

The Tulsa Salvation Army held its annual Christmas Eve feast Wednesday. Some 1,500 people were expected to attend the meal, which was complete with turkey and all the trimmings.

"it's very important, 365 days a year on Christmas and Thanksgiving we try to make it a little more special." Those who attended Wednesday also got to take home a free hat along with a pair of gloves.
