(Undated-AP) -- Former University of Oklahoma pitcher Mark Redman has agreed to a three-year contract with the Oakland Athletics.

Redman and the A's have agreed to a $3-million deal.

Redman was 14-and-9 with an ERA of 3.5 in 29 starts last season for the World Series champion Florida Marlins.

He pitched at OU in 1994 and '95.
