(McAlester-AP) -- Up to 1,000 people in a jury pool for the murder trial of Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols are to gather in McAlester February 23rd.
The potential jurors are to meet at S- Arch Thompson Auditorium at McAlester Public Schools where District Judge Steven Taylor will discuss what's required of them during the trial.
Jury selection will be held later at the Pittsburg County Courthouse for the trial that's expected to last four-to-six months.
Nichols is to stand trial beginning March first on state murder charges for his role in the April 1995 bombing. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
Nichols is already serving life in prison on federal convictions for his part in the attack.
The trial was moved to McAlester because of extensive pretrial publicity in Oklahoma City.
