OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Children will benefit from a wager between Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius on Saturday's Big 12 championship football game.

If the University of Oklahoma wins the contest against Kansas State, Sebelius will read a book to elementary school children in Oklahoma.

If Kansas State wins, Henry will don a Wildcats jersey and read to an elementary school class in Kansas.

``I look forward to what I am sure will be a dramatic and powerful reading by Gov. Sebelius,'' Henry said. ``While I applaud my fellow governor for her loyalty to the Wildcats, I am confident that the Sooners will make Saturday a banner day for the Crimson and Cream.''

Sebelius said she also is looking forward to the game.

``The Kansas State Wildcats bring power to the field and incredible fans around it,'' she said. ``These factors alone ensure Gov. Henry better get his reading voice ready for Kansas children.''

The Sooners and Wildcats play for the conference championship Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
