A University of Tulsa student is heading overseas. Tyler Moore from Broken Arrow is the 2003 Marshall scholarship winner.

The $60,000 award pays for him to study in Great Britain. "I went to high school in Broken Arrow and moved 20 miles away into Tulsa to go to college. But the opportunities that I was afforded while I was studying at TU has enabled me to study at Cambridge! I would have never thought of that."

While at TU, Moore has become an expert in protecting telephone networks from cyber-attacks. He also teaches people in retirement homes how to use computers so they can stay in touch with their grandchildren.
