The Tulsa Zoo plans to add a veterinary hospital to its grounds. The Tulsa Zoo broke ground Wednesday on the new 12,000 square foot facility that will treat a variety of species.

The hospital should be finished by next fall. The third penny sales tax and Tulsa Zoo Friends are paying for it.
