Tulsa County prosecutors are recommending an eight-year prison sentence for Donald Cherry.

The former Tulsa high school teacher has pleaded guilty to showing obscene pictures to three teenage students. School leaders began an investigation after a student reported seeing inappropriate material on his computer.

Cherry has resigned from the Tulsa High School for Science and Technology. Sentencing is set for January 12th.
