(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A man suspected of kidnapping his three-year-old son and raping a Shawnee woman is in custody.
Travis Weston Foote was booked into the Oklahoma County jail Wednesday -- 13 days after he was arrested in North Carolina.
Foote faces complaints of first-degree rape and lewd acts with a child. Federal marshals captured Foote on November 13th at his brother's home in Denver, North Carolina. Foote waived extradition.
Authorities suspect Foote in the October 9th rape of a Shawnee woman. The victim was thrown over a North Canadian River bridge but survived. She suffered a broken neck.
Oklahoma City police were also seeking Foote for refusing to release his son into state custody.
