(Nashville, Arkansas-AP) -- Suspected killer Scott Eizember has admitted to a deadly crime spree and a kidnapping that led to his capture.
That's according to Angelina County, Texas, Sheriff Kent Henson.
Eizember has been charged with the October 18th shooting death of 70-year-old Patsy Cantrell and the beating death of her husband, 76-year-old A-J Cantrell, in their Depew home.
Eizember is also wanted for beating a neighbor and shooting her grandson October 18th in Depew while stalking an ex-girlfriend.
Henson says Eizember's statement, quote: "matched almost to a T", authorities' accounts of crimes he's accused of in Oklahoma.
Eizember later abducted a Nashville, Arkansas, doctor and his wife and forced them at gunpoint to drive him from Arkansas to Texas.
Hundreds of miles later, Peebles shot Eizember with a revolver the couple kept in the car. Eizember was wounded and is now in good condition in an East Texas hospital.
The sheriff says Eizember seems only sorry about one thing: that the doctor hadn't killed him when he shot him.
