Criminal charges have been dropped against former WorldCom CEO Bernard Ebbers in Oklahoma.

Attorney General Drew Edmondson says he plans to re-file them quickly. Ebbers was charged with violating Oklahoma securities laws.

Edmondson says his office was forced to drop the charges after a judge refused for a second time to delay a December 1st preliminary hearing in the case.
