A deer crossing the highway is being blamed for a Tuesday morning traffic accident near Pine and US Highway 169.

Tulsa Police say the driver a pick-up truck struck a deer as it crossed the highway, killing it.

As police were working that accident, a couple of other motorists hit each other causing even more traffic tie-ups during the rush hour. No one was hurt.
