(Claremore-AP) -- A wrongful death claim against the city of Claremore says four police officers failed to stop an underage drinking party before a 16-year-old boy was killed in a drunken driving accident.

The $125,000 claim by Teresa Williams, the mother of the dead boy, says the four officers saw the underage drinking , but took no action to stop it. The officers are not named.

Taylor Williams was killed October 20th, 2002, when the pickup truck he was riding in after leaving the party crashed into a tree. The driver, Jerrod Buckaloo, has since been sentenced to ten years in prison for manslaughter.
