(Los Angeles-AP) -- A private eye to the stars in Hollywood says he's going to take his punishment "like a man" -- and not drag his celebrity clients into his criminal case.
Anthony Pellicano is supposed to report to prison in Los Angeles today for having illegal explosives. Pellicano says he won't cooperate with an investigation into whether he secretly taped his clients' phone calls to their lawyers.
He's worked for stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and Sylvester Stallone. He's expected to serve 27 to 33 months.
Pellicano says he's rejected offers of leniency in exchange for his cooperation with the wiretapping investigation. He pleaded guilty last month to illegally possessing military-style explosives and hand grenades found during a raid of his office last year.
