Accident kills Pawnee woman

(Pawnee-AP) -- A Pawnee County woman has died in a one-vehicle crash near Pawnee. <br><br>The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Lisa Ann Hawkins was killed in the crash eight miles north of Pawnee.

(Pawnee-AP) -- A Pawnee County woman has died in a one-vehicle crash near Pawnee.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Lisa Ann Hawkins was killed in the crash eight miles north of Pawnee.

The crash occurred at Sunday afternoon on a county road. Troopers say the vehicle was northbound when it ran off the road, overcorrected and ran into an embankment, overturning once.

The patrol says unsafe speed contributed to the fatal accident. Troopers say Hawkins wasn't wearing a seat belt.
