Electricity is back on for most customers in south Tulsa and Jenks.

A fire at an electrical substation Thursday morning caused a power outage that left about 7,600 customers in the dark and caused schools to cancel classes.

An AEP-PSO spokesman says power should be fully restored to all areas by Thursday evening.
