Some Tulsa neighbors have lost their battle to stop a bank from building in their neighborhood.

The Tulsa City Council voted six to three to rezone the property on the southwest corner of 71st and Harvard. That clears the way for F&M Bank. Area residents have protested. They say the bank will devalue their property, and bring even more traffic to the intersection.

The council members say the vote does not mean other commercial development will be allowed in the area.
