DENVER (AP) _ Marv Foley has been named manager of the Colorado Rockies' Triple-A affiliate, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, in 2004.

Foley spent the 2003 season as manager of the Rockies' Double-A team in Tulsa, where he led the Drillers to a 76-64 record.

Foley has compiled a 969-908 record in 14 years as a minor-league skipper.

Foley is the only manager to have won a championship in three Triple-A leagues: Pacific Coast League with Vancouver in 1989, the now-defunct American Association with Iowa in 1993 and the International League with Rochester in 1997.

Foley, a former catcher, played 12 seasons of professional baseball, including major league time with the Chicago White Sox and the Texas Rangers.
